Bringing colour and sustainable design into your home
Why buy new when there is so much great furniture just waiting to be made new? This is at the heart of my business – sustainability, reusing, upcycling, painted furniture.
I'm all about taking a piece of vintage furniture and seeing what the possibilities are, transforming it into something so bright, bold and striking that you smile every time you see it. A Pinkyswifts piece is a real talking point – or at least it is once people have stopped saying “WOW!” It isn’t for the background – even if that’s where you put it, it finds its way to the centre of things!
As they say, go big or go home! So why not go big IN your home? It allows people to enjoy their family heirlooms by adding their own personality to it.
Sustainable, unique and personal
The products I use are eco-friendly, as far as possible, and I re-use as much of the original piece as I can. It's all about enhancing the existing design and only making changes that will truly make it more beautiful and perfect for you!
So, if you have a piece that needs some love or if you know what you want, you just don't have it yet - get in touch! Pinkyswifts will certainly be able to add some wow to your home!
I had been looking for a prayer/ meditation table for years and couldn’t find anything meaningful. I had never had anything upcycled before so was so open to try. It was evident how much Amy loves what she does and takes great care of your ideas along the way. Amy talked me through the process and we collaborated on an idea and the rest is history.
The process was easeful, meaningful and personally for me, healing too.
Every time I meditate I carry a little bit of Pinkyswifts with me. Thank you Amy for understanding the brief and delivering considered customer service and a beautiful piece of furniture.

I was never in love with the drinks cabinet Amy worked wonders on, dark, bland and generic, and I am so glad I gave it to her.
She came up with some great ideas, as well as understanding what was significant to me, and certainly knew her stuff with what would look too much, and striking a good balance with the design.
Working in an industry dealing with fractions of millimetres, I notice things most people wouldn’t, but that did not phase Amy, and she has more than delivered with incredible attention to detail, as well as great communication throughout.

Working with you was great, really felt like you got what we were after very quickly and came up with the perfect tweaks to the design based on our feedback.
Loved the idea of being sent the paint samples on the lolly sticks so we could see what each paint really looked like!
Think we first saw your work at one of the MK craft fayres, so we knew how good it could look and how it could really add the finishing touch to our bedroom.
