This 1960s Meredew cabinet is a classic mid century style with it's clean lines and rounded handle. Originally it would have been part of a set of bedside cabinets but over the years many sets get split up.
But that's no reason to ignor the possiblities of this little gem!
By adding the oak, mid century style legs it really balances the design and makes it a stand out piece of furniture.
With it's hand painted sleek, modern design, it would look perfect almost anywhere in your home. How about that reading nook you've always wanted? Or in the hallway with a lamp and storage for all those bits that don't have a home?
It really is a versatile piece of furniture that packs a punch.
Measurements H76cm x W46cm x D36cm
Painted in Little Greene eggshell, gold gilding wax and Fushion Mineral paint. There is a great contrast between the slight sheen of the green, the matt, soft damask pink and the shiny gold interior.
The inside has been painted in the same soft damask and topcoated for added protection.
All my items are hand-painted, professionally upcycled pieces which have been restored and updated for the modern home. They are one-off pieces that have had a previous life, so please expect some unique imperfections. As hand-painted pieces you should expect a high quality craftsman finish rather than a machine/factory finish.
